Most survivor couples would never have met one another had the Holocaust not occurred. Certainly their weddings were not the kind they dreamed of while growing up. Alone and adrift, survivors turned to each other to replace the families they had lost.

With all that has been written and said about the Holocaust, little attention has been paid to these marriages born out of loss. Meet and hear the riveting stories of Malvina Lefkowitz and Jean Gluck of South Orange and three other survivors. Wedding cake will be served.

It's almost Brain Awareness Week/Einstein's Birthday and we want everyone to know they can actually get smarter! (Maybe not as smart as Einstein, but definitely a little brainier.) Cognitive skills training is a proven way to "unlock the Einstein"  inside us all.

We'd love to help you unlock your inner Einstein - by trying some LearningRx exercises that are proven to make you smarter, and by getting "Einsteined" where you don an Einstein wig and mustache for a photo op.

We could provide you with:

  • Einstein facts and trivia
  • Insight into how brain training makes people smarter
  • Examples of things parents can do at home to help their child strengthen cognitive skills
  • An interview with one of our students who feels more like Einstein after our training.

Our celebration is March 14, 2011 at 6:30pm. If you can't make it then, we would love to have you come any time for a preview.
