The Wellness Lounge
Location: The Wellness Lounge
14 S Orange Ave, South Orange, NJ
When: November 28, 2012
Time: 6:30 pm–8:00 pm

Lots of us have thoughts around goals or a vision but how are we translating that into ACTION? Ideas are empty without a plan and consciousness happens in a vacuum unless you do something with the discovery.
What does it take to get you committed to YOU and your future? How can you create and celebrate an extraordinary life, whether in your career or in your romantic or family life? Why do so few of us do any meaningful life planning? Join Sydney Davis, Life and Executive Coach and President of LetsRISE Coaching as she leads you to think about ways to “jump off” the excuse machine and commit to exploring yourself and your future, and have tons of fun doing it.
Through highly interactive and fun exercises, you and others in the group will explore your passions, visions, possibilities and intentions. We'll be throwing out phrases like: "I dare you to," which is an invitation to take a risk; a call to action to do something outside of your comfort zone, to be bold and courageous. Imagine yourself as a kid jumping into playful exploration of your innermost dares and dreams.
What can you expect from this 1.5 hour gift to yourself? At the very least, you will have much fun in the company of others who are also open to exploring their future. From this "taste of group coaching", we will form a small group who will gather monthly in 2013 to go deeper and put themselves and their future on the hook to design an "Extraordinary Life.""Life is not a problem to be solved, but a mystery to be lived." The play, the second in the 2012-2013 Seton Hall Theatre season, is student directed by Iậme Manucci under the faculty mentorship of Professor Deirdre Yates.

The Children’s Hour, written by Lillian Hellman, is a serious adult play that focuses on two women who run an all girls school. Performances are at 8 p.m. on Dec. 6 - 8 and 2 p.m. on Dec. 9. Tickets can be purchased at the University Center box office at performance time. Tickets are $15 for general admission, $10 for alumni and senior citizens and $5 for students, faculty and staff.

For over 150 years, Seton Hall University has been a catalyst for leadership, developing the whole student mind, heart, and spirit. Seton Hall combines the resources of a large university with the personal attention of a small liberal arts college. Its attractive suburban campus is only 14 miles by train, bus or car to New York City, with the wealth of employment, internship, cultural, and entertainment opportunities the city has to offer. Seton Hall is a Catholic university that embraces students of all races and religions, challenging each to better the world through integrity, compassion and a commitment to serving others.
