 Aquinas Academy of Livingston invites all parents and prospective students to its Transitional Kindergarten Open House on December 6th from 9am-11am and 6pm-7:30pm.

This new program, called Kindergarten Prep - A Year to Grow, offers a new choice in early childhood education, focusing on children who either miss the October cut-off date or just need an additional year to grow socially, academically, or physically before entering kindergarten.

  The demands of kindergarten are greater than ever. Children who are not developmentally ready for the increased workload and challenges of kindergarten get easily frustrated and fall behind. Allowing these children one more year to develop gives them the skills they need to thrive in kindergarten and beyond.

The Kindergarten Prep Open House will take place in Aquinas Academy's Primary Department where Kindergarten Prep students will be exposed to an elementary school environment, affording them the opportunity to interact with school-aged children. All Kindergarten Prep students will participate in art, gym, music, and Spanish instruction and will be included in all school-wide activities.

Christmas Musical Celebration “Unto Us Salvation Is Born”

South Orange, NJ, December 15, 2012: Pastor Terry L. Richardson & First Baptist Church of South Orange will be hosting their annual Christmas Celebration. This is a musical celebration with Special Guest Caritas Chamber Chorale and Lorraine Stancil.

Caritas Chamber Chorale is based in central New Jersey; Caritas Chamber Chorale was founded by Barbara Sanderman in 2005 for the purpose of presenting a series of concerts of acappella sacred music to raise funds for the Adorno Fathers' St. Francis Caracciolo Mission, Democratic Republic of Congo, Africa.

Lorraine Stancil is blessed with a special voice, a musical ear of perfect pitch and has a 5 octave range. Lorraine Stancil’s name rings constantly throughout the length and breadth of this country and abroad.
