In this workshop Dr. Diana Gáler will share her tips for gaining the confidence and assurance necessary for a successful interview.
A successful interview requires three things, Preparation, Preparation and Preparation. However, many job seekers do not prepare in a way that helps them showcase their talents, skills and prior experience to be most attractive to employers. In this workshop you will learn how to feel more comfortable and confident whether the interview is on the phone or in-person. Also, you will learn how to create and practice your responses in a way that answers the employers’ questions effectively and helps you stay on message. And you will also craft the questions that will help you determine if the employer provides an environment where you can succeed. You will be prepared for the dreaded “Do you have any questions?”
Dr. Diana Gáler helps mid-career professionals find their groove again. She has been coaching scientists and managers, mainly from the pharmaceutical industry like herself, who are contemplating or in the midst of major career transitions. Clients and participants in her six-part workshop, Career Happiness, say that her help was invaluable in their career transformations plans and that they could not have done it otherwise.
In addition to her coaching practice, Dr. Gáler is a volunteer with the Metro Chapter of the Healthcare Business Women’s Association (HBA) where she has been a mentor and executive coach since 2011.
Dr. Gáler is a scientist by education and experience and a coach by vocation. She founded Gáler Coaching for Excellence in 2009. Originally from Argentina, she is fluent in Spanish and is available to coach in both English and Spanish. She has been a resident of Maplewood since February 2011 and is excited to be able to offer this free workshop to the Professionals in Transition Group.
