We have many ways to enhance our minds as well as engage in the creative and healing process. Creative Arts, Knitting and Crocheting are very powerful ways to facilitate nurturing of the mind and spirit. These ancestral crafts console the soul as we create, heal and grow. Crafting with our hands also helps replenish the body. Join us in this relaxing and fun workshop led by Dr. Genevieve Yarrell-Harris, educational consultant and psychotherapist, who uses various forms of creative art therapies as tools for working with individuals, families and groups. Engaging in these activities may benefit your overall well-being or simply help you develop a life-long craft.
Please bring your craft supplies, tools and yarn. (Note: This workshop focus is about healing, and therefore, class instruction will be geared toward basics, for example, crocheting or knitting of scarves.)
