NOJEX '12, the 49th annual North Jersey Philatelic Exhibition, a World Series of Philately Show, will be held on May 25-27, 2012, Friday to Sunday, at the Meadowlands Crowne Plaza Hotel in Secaucus, New Jersey. The show will host the annual conventions of the Rossica Society of Russian Philately, the Ottoman and Near East Philatelic Society, and the New Jersey Postal History Society.
The show will include more than 200 frames of both multi and single frame exhibits as well as youth exhibits. The multi-frame Grand Award winner will be eligible to compete in the APS Champion of Champions Competition to be held in Sacramento, California in August, 2012, while the single frame Grand Award winner will be eligible to compete in the Single Frame C of C in Louisville, Kentucky in January 2013. NOJEX is the only Champion of Champions qualifying show in the tri-state (NJ-NY-CT) area.
The bourse will be home to more than 40 dealers offering a full range of philatelic material. There will also be a number of presentations made during the course of the show covering topics which are sure to be of interest.
The Young Philatelic Leaders Fellowship will be at NOJEX selling a diverse selection of US and Worldwide Stamps and Covers. The most significant consignment is the inventory of the late John Nunes. John loved stamp shows and he understood the importance of young collectors. John's inventory of US and Worldwide postal history will be offered at deep discounts from John's marked retail with a portion of the proceeds donated to the YPFL to support further Youth Programs and the APS.
