The equation has shifted dramatically for startups and the barriers to entry are lower today than in the past. With the access to the information and technology we have now, you can come up with an idea over lunch and create a working prototype shortly thereafter. This seminar is to aid potential entrepreneurs with the steps necessary to pursue your dreams.
The three-hour session run by Main Street South Orange, called New Biz 101, will include speakers with expertise in attracting early-stage financing and other aspects of building a business, including legal requirements, business research and real estate opportunities. Main Street South Orange’s goal is to parlay this seminar into an on-going forum, including future seminars and guidance. Through this program, start-ups can access an extensive network of industry leaders for direction on many topics pertinent to small business.
