Join progressive Jewish writer and scholar Bennett Muraskin for an exploration of the ideas that competed with Zionism for the loyalty and support of the Jewish people, from the extremes of assimilation and ultra-orthodoxy to Diaspora Nationalism, Soviet communism, Bundism and more. We'll travel roads not taken to examine how leading figures in Jewish life and culture, from Albert Einstein to I. L. Peretz, viewed the movement toward and the need for a Jewish state.
