Shuffle Jump & Moan is a compilation band, comprised of United Jersey Blues Network performers that play in other top area bands. Although each of the performers in the band play in other bands, we always unite to perform as a group. Some nites we'll have a harp in the line-up. On other nites we'll have a horn section. We'll even perform in venues with a piano/guitar duo. The band can be seen at such venues as Ruthies BBQ in Montclair, Blend in Ridgewood or the Towne Tavern in Lake Hiawatha. The style of the music covers traditional blues from masters like T-Bone, Gatemouth Spaan and BB. Plus covers tracks from contemporary greats like Clapton, Cray, Lang, Stevie Ray and more. Everything from Shuffles to Rhumbas, Slow Moanin' Blues and Jump Swing.
