Join the South Orange Civic Association on Sunday, January 13th, 3 pm at the South Orange Middle School Auditorium (70 N. Ridgewood Road, South Orange, NJ) for its 43rd annual celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This year’s ‘Beloved Community’ awards—presented to residents who have volunteered in our towns in ways that manifest the legacy of Dr. King—will be presented to Ulysses Dietz and Lee May Boswell. The guest speaker is Nancy Gagnier who will be speaking on “The Future of Integration in the Post-Civil Rights Era.” Free and open to the public!
