Time: 9:30 am–2:00 pm
The Rotary Clubs of South Orange and Maplewood and the Rotaract Club of Seton Hall University invite you to volunteer on our Two Towns: A day of volunteerism, Martin Luther King Day by donating Blood. The Young Leaders-Interact Club of Maplewood and South Orange invite you to purchase their home baked exquisite quality baked goods at their Bake Sale to raise money for School supplies for an orphanage in Thailand at the same time inside the Rescue Squad
Our poster child this is year is Leah, her sister is a student at Seton Hall. Please come to give Blood and help Leah and others in our area. We are all still feeling the effects of Hurricane Sandy and our hospitals are still treating people that are being affected by watching their homes being destroyed or damaged and others that are unknowingly cleaning up without using proper equipment and being affected with lung issues too.
If you are moved to make an appointment please contact Stacey Borden on her cell 973-454-6272 with a text or voice message or her email at StaceyElectric@optonline.net. She would love to hear from you. Although we prefer appointments, walk-ins are welcome anytime between 9:30 AM and 2 PM.
Remember to bring ID and have plenty to eat and drink before you donate and throughout the day of the blood drive. To give blood you must be in generally good health, meet weight criteria and be at least 17 years of age or 16 years of age with parental consent.
This event is sponsored by the New Jersey Blood Services, if you need further info you can call 800-933-2566 or www.nybloodcenter.org
