Cross-Cultural Competency Workshop

Join us for a community conversation on cross-cultural competency and how it affects communication between teachers, students, and parents.  Questions for discussion include What is cross-cultural competency?  How does it enhance student learning?  How can parents and children in our diverse community become more culturally sensitive?  The workshop features Dr. Alice Baldwin-Jones, Adj. Professor, City College of New York and incorporates live scenarios, interactive exercises and facilitated discussion.
