Based on Arthur Miller's novel, this film recounts the unraveling of a community when one man's identity is questioned. Increasingly ostracized at home and at work, he struggles to maintain his dignity in an America at war and in turmoil. Suddenly, he finds himself the "outsider." With incredible performances by William H. Macy and Laura Dern, this film never got its proper release in the weeks that followed 9/11.
