The Summer Solstice Celebration is a gathering of regional performers and artists presenting world music, dance, drumming, arts and crafts for children and
more. Food and craft vendors as well as healing practitioners will be on site at the OSPAC amphitheater set on five beautiful acres next to Crystal Lake in West Orange. This event is FREE to the public with a
donation of non-perishable, unexpired food goods that will be collected for the Holy Trinity – West Orange Food Pantry.
Guests will join in a series of sun salutations and be treated to performances by special guests including the Montclair based 13 HANDS aka DALIEN, a Grammy nominated singer/songwriter, world musician, shamanic and kirtankar (one who leads Kirtan,a call and response chanting practice based in India). Other performers include
Mark Woods, a regionally renowned teaching circle drummer and world music musician, Celtic harpist Odarka, The Center for Spiritual Living of North Jersey’s One Voice choir, spoken word artists and much more.
Bring blankets and lawn chairs and a drum,
rattle or shaker for the powerful and inspiring show finale! Instruments for children will be available for purchase.
