Community Relations Committee of South Orange's Mission Statement:
The mission of the South Orange Community Relations Commission is to serve the Community as the organization responsible for: welcoming newcomers to the village, acting as community Ombudsman when necessary, emphasizing the positive aspects of the village - as it does with the Villager of the Month Award, investigating and addressing issues as requested by the Board of Trustees and/or the community, and by stimulating affirmative action.
