Meeting of the Absalom Jones Committee for Black History and Culture

The Absalom Jones Committee for Black History and Culture is a ministry of St. George's Episcopal Church, Maplewood, NJ. Our mission is to celebrate within our parish the history of Americans of African descent; to promote the knowledge of their history, culture and contributions to the foundations of American society. We encourage membership and participation by people of all races and ethnic backgrounds. The next meeting of the Absalom Jones Committee for Black History and Culture (AJCBHC) will be held on Sunday, December 26, 2010, anyone interested in joining this group is welcome to attend. The meeting will be held in the 3^rd floor resource room immediately following the 10:30 AM service.
