“Astonishment: Life in the Slow Lane”

“Astonishment: Life in the Slow Lane,” is adapted from nonagenarian Maplewood resident Jan Slepian’s reflections on aging with humor and grace. The hour-long performance, adapted by Dreamcatcher’s Laura Ekstrand, comments on the astonishment of being old, the heartbreak and comfort of companionship in later years, and the ridiculous moments in everyday life.
