While the Baird Center is closed for repairs, Playwrights Theatre in Madison has generously volunteered to co-produce, and they’ve invited us to relocate to their home in Madison for the run of the show.
In "Distracted" nine-year-old Jesse has a problem. But is it ADHD or is he just being a boy? As his parents navigate the complicated world of medical and alternative treatments they confront the possibility that it’s not just Jesse who’s distracted—it’s our entire culture.
"Distracted" was a hit off-Broadway last season when the Associated Press called it “a smartly comic, sharply observant and surprisingly humane play.” The reviewer at Time Out New York proclaimed it “my favorite comedy of the year!”
