Do you have books you want to donate to help your local library?
The Book Donation Days for the 2011 Friends of South Orange Public Library BOOK SALE are fast approaching! So gather together your books, DVD’s, CD’s and childrens games and bring them to the parking lot of the SOPL. [65 Scotland Rd. between Comstock and Taylor Place].
We cannot accept the following donations: soiled or mildewed books, encyclopedias or computer software books, LP’s, VHS or audio tapes - either new or home-made.
Book donations hours are 12 noon -4pm on each donation day!

Thurs. April 28th
Sat. April 30th
Tues. May 3rd
Thurs. May 5th
Sat. May 7th
We are volunteer run! If you want to contribute your time to either the Book Donation Days, or to the Book Sale itself, please sign up at the circulation desk at the library, email friends@sopl.org or call the library (973-762-0230) to get your name on our list. Thank you for your help!
The Friends of the SOPL BOOK SALE is on Saturday, May 14th from 11am to 4pm! Same location as the book donations
If you miss the sale (or just can’t resist a deal!) come on out for The Friends BAG SALE the following day on Sunday May 15th from 2-5pm!
The Friends of the SOPL is a 501c3 charitable organization. All proceeds go toward helping the South Orange Public Library through collection development, expanded programming, the summer reading program prizes, special guest performances and talks at the library throughout the year!
