You Can Take Control: A Diabetes Prevention Program

Livingston Public Library and Metro YMCA of the Oranges will host “You Can Take Control: A Diabetes Prevention Program” at the Library on Wednesday, June 8^th. The program is specifically for adults who are at high risk for developing type-2 diabetes. It will be offered twice, at 12:30 PM, and again in the evening at 7:30 PM.

The program is free and reservations are not required.

There will also be a display of books on prediabetes and diabetes from the Library’s collection: sourcebooks, diet and exercise, cookbooks, and personal stories. All of these books and hundreds of titles from other libraries may be borrowed with a Livingston Library card.
