The Newark Bears will play the 2011 season in the Canadian-American professional baseball league, after spending 12 years in the Atlantic League. The Can-Am League, which also features neighboring rival the New Jersey Jackals, runs its season from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. The Bears are scheduled to begin their stint in the Can-Am League on May 26 at Bears & Eagles Riverfront Stadium.
